Coding with Scratch Jr

Hi my name is Jalyus. I am learning  how to do coding on Scratch Junior.  It is a bit hard when the animals have a race with an animal and it was hard to pick a paddock and animal too. It is hard to press the green flag and the numbers and the red arrow It goes by it self if you press play. I like that I know how to create an animation on a new site. This is my screenshot of my animations.

Class of the week

Room 1 won the class of the week because we have been sitting up in Taumata and have been respectful. We have been showing discipline in kapa haka. We show resilience by when people are trying to distract us in Taumata and in assembly and in class we keep listening. I like getting class of the week because it means other classes have seen us being good. It was also cool that I got to present it to the class we chose.

Floating and sinking

This is a youtube video about floating and sinking. We watched this in class and learnt about what things float and sink. If something is heavy and solid it falls to the bottom of the water and when something is light or hollow it floats on top.

Dump Truck

Today I have been learning to create an animation with google slides.  Mine is about a truck trying to dump the sand of the truck. I  have been making animation and i have been using Ctrl c v.

I liked this because Its was good for me because I like the way that i did it. I know my pepeha now.

My First Stop Go Animation

Earthworms.

Earthworms are interesting and helpful.

There could be a quarter of a million worms in your garden.

We don’t see earthworms very often because they are underground making tunnels.

GECKOS

Geckos eat flies and they can climb trees because they have sticky pads on their feet.  Geckos can change colour to hide.
